Getting an OAC Account

You need an OAC account to contribute to the OAC and manage information about your institution.

We set up new contributors with OAC accounts at the time of sign-up. If you are a new staff member at a contributing institution, or if you have lost your information, please contact us with the following information:

  • Full name of individual requesting the account
  • Complete contact information (phone and e-mail)
  • Your institution name

OAC Dashboard

Use your OAC account to log into your OAC Dashboard. The dashboard is where you can submit, manage, and publish your collection guides.

Your user name is your email address. It is not case sensitive.

Your password is case sensitive.

First time logging into the Dashboard?

If this is your very first time logging into the Dashboard:

  • Click the "Forgot your password?" link -- you will be prompted to enter your email address to initiate steps to create a new password. Please check your email (including Spam and Junk folders) and follow the instructions provided in that email. Please contact us if you do not receive instructions.
  • Once logged in, please choose the "My Account" link in the top navigation. On that page, you will see your name, your email address (also your username), as well as a list of repositories your account is associated with. These are the repositories that your account has designated permissions to manage finding aids. Please contact us if this list is incorrect.
