ArchivesSpace EAD exports that include digital objects currently fail the OAC ingest process.

The ArchivesSpace EAD export for digital objects currently reads as such:

<dao audience="internal" xlink:actuate="none" xlink:audience="external"
              xlink:href=" " xlink:show="none"
xlink:title="Watercolor of Brassie fly nymph (fishing fly)" xlink:type="simple">
<p>Watercolor of Brassie fly nymph (fishing fly)</p>

'xlink:audience' is not valid. This is a known issue in the ASpace EAD export and it seems they are currently gathering information to address this fix. For details, please see:

In the meantime, the recommended workaround is a manual correction in the XML.

Update: This issue was fixed in the ArchivesSpace v2.8.0 release; upgrading to the latest ArchivesSpace will resolve any continuing issues on this validation. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!
