OAC and Calisphere currently run Google’s Universal Analytics (UA) to track site usage statistics. Google introduced Google Analytics 4 (GA4), their updated site usage statistics tracker, and have also announced they will remove support for UA in July 2023.

Moving to GA4 requires some investigation and configuration on our side, so that you will be able to track the same key metrics that you’ve been used to seeing in UA. Out of the box, GA4 does not support the same level of reporting that you are seeing in UA, such as viewing site usage by collection.

We don't quite have a timeline yet, as we are currently investigating a strategy to implement GA4. We do understand that Google has provided a timeline of July 2023, so we are working with that timeframe in mind. We'll be sure to share updates as we learn more.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. Thanks!
